Åsa advices in the field of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property law, marketing law, franchising and commercial contracts and she heads Attorneys at law Borenius' Brands practice. She has an extensive experience in anti-counterfeit services and trademark related matters and she continuously advices major international clients on trademark and marketing law related questions and disputes.

Prior to joining Attorneys at law Borenius, Åsa worked in a Dutch-based European headquarters of a multinational electronic equipment manufacturer and other major Finnish law firms.

Åsa is a  member of the board of the Finnish Association of Industrial Property Rights,  the board of  the Finnish Anti-Counterfeiting Group and  of the INTA Anticounterfeiting Committee. She lectures nationally and internationally in her fields of interest and she has contributed to international publications in the fields of intellectual property and commercial contracts.

Besides her University degree from 1994, Åsa holds a LL.M. degree from Amsterdam School of International Relations 1998 in European Union Business Law.

Åsa has been a Specialist Partner since 2011.
